Thanks to all who served that allow us the opportunity to still serve!

U.S. Army Airborne Infantryman currently stationed at Fort Polk, LA. 3 tours to Iraq and no desire to return. Too much red tape and not enough common sense.

I put Army but I'm an Army Veteran. Spent 6 years active and another year in the guard. My last duty station was Ft. Irwin, CA but my favorite was Fort Sill, OK, where a good friend introduced me to ducks and geese.

Many thanks to all of you!

US Navy - 1 deployment for 'guard duty' in Kuwait at a prison...

Currently in reserves, FMF Corpsman Second Class with Echo Company grunts 23rd Marine Regiment - San Bruno, Cal.

FMF Corpsman and I love it.

Killed a few critters this year so far on a few hunting trips.

Im up to: 3 spoons, 2 ruddys, 2 GWT, 1 canvasback in terms of ducks... Slow season with a late start this year...

Having gone to war myself, it was even harder to watch the boy go. I'd have taken his place in a heartbeat. At 61, I might slow them down a bit, but I'll bet I could complain about aches and pains louder!

i'll tell you what, as a current Marine deployed (round three) to the 'stan, i'm hatin' life quite a bit, but the instant a Vietnam or any other Vet shows up, i cant complain a bit. you guys motivate the sh!t outta me, and hearing your support means a lot more because you guys know what its like, and then some. true, we're a different Marine Corps (and military altogether) than years ago, but its the guys that went before us that paved the way for us to still be here. Kill.
