i need of a duck hunting partner

hope someone can help im in the military and ive only hunted in texas i aready have my hunting permit but i dont know where to start. i need a place to hunt and or a buddy who knows the area and some tricks of the trade, i live around ft lewis, wa any help would be helpful thanks mike

I don't know where Ft Lewis is, but I know they hunt ducks around Corpus. You might be better off posting up in the state section.

Try checking out the Washington state forum on this site. The guys over there should be able to get you pointed in the right direction. :thumbsup:

You are definitely at a great place for ducks and geese!!!! :drool: I was stationed at Ft. Lewis and I just rented a boat from the Outdoor Adventure Center and put in at a little boat ramp at the mouth of the Nisqually River and see the results below. Thats around 1 hour on a good day and 2 on a not so good day! No lie! Shooting on post was so-so. The Sound is where it's at!!!Enjoy your stay. I truly miss Washington!!!!! :no:
