2.75" - 12 ga Turkey Loads ?

Postby bluewing77 » Tue Apr 13, 2010 5:53 pm

for the gobblers I've killed I have always used Winchester 3" 1.75 oz, #5 or #4 out of an 870 w/ extended factory super full choke. one year killed 2 birds with this load load using benelli m2 with factory full choke.

I have a Light 12, full choke A-5 that I'd like to take out into the woods this year. post up if you use a 2.75" load for 12 ga. i was thinkin of a 1.5 oz load of #5's.

i hunt merriam's in the mountains of northern NM, all birds killed have been 30 - 35 yds. thanks
