Dave Smiths Turkey Decoys

Postby don novicki » Mon Feb 25, 2013 11:32 am

Hey guys I'm thinking about putting together a big spread of DSD turkeys. I thought I'd start off with a dozen but can't seem to get the mix right. I was going to go with 7 Jakes and 5 hens but now I'm thinking of adding a gobbler or two also. Whats everyone's opinion.................I'm also in need of a small trailer too.

I wouldn't mess with that scrawny of a spread, at least 2 dozen, arranged in family groups facing into the wind. Go Big or Go Home

I figure I'll only have this spread for this year anyway because I'm sure I will have to upgrade on decoys for next season......

The point of how many decoys you have is mute anyways unless you shoot Hevi-Shot Magnum Blends becuase no other loads could possibly ever kill a turkey. :fingerhead: :fingerhead:
