first tom

Got my first tom :biggrin: nice one he was 19.5 lbs with a 10 inch beard and 1 in spurs. was really exciting. he made me work for him tho. ran over 600 yards after him. I had two shots cuz of bad first shot placement. it was about 40 yards it wounded him good tho then the chase was on. second was 3 yards cuz he was still movin good.

What happened on the first shot to where he ran 600 yds?

i shot and it was a tough shot i hit him enough to get him from getting away i had a little bush that was by him i had to try not to hit
