Killed mine a few years back, an eastern that topped the scales at 24 lbs. 1/1/4" spurs and had a 11 7/8" beard. The grand prize was it took an hr to get him in. He really put on a show

good deal cut, nice bird. i worked that RIO, a 23 lber killed by my buddy as a double, and a jake for 2 hours. they worked around a field that was 343 yds from the point where they initially popped out at to where we were and the two big guys strutted all the way across the field. it was truly and amazing site to see.

This is a hard desision for me. MY personal best was 24 1/4 lbs, 10 1/8" beard and sported 1 5/8" spurs. And I took him on public game lands.
But, my brother and law and I took a double I called in and his bird was 27 1/8lbs ( bird had been shot in the chest the year before and was FULL of scare tissue ) 11" beard and sported 1 3/4" spurs

Size is one thing but I judge my birds by the adventure of the hunt and the things I had to go thru to get them. A jake can be a trohpy for some.

My biggest I shot after my springers flushed it. 10.5 inch beard and 23 lbs. I shot it at 20 yards with 7.5 shot and my male retrieved it. He was just a pup and was only used to cockbirds. One of those times I wish I packed a camera.

I killed a double bearded bird that 10 1/4 and 10 3/4 in beards, 1 3/8 spurs and weighed 22 lbs. Heaviest bird is a tie 4 @ 24lbs. The longest beard I have is 12 1/4 but he was a pick up thats was run over by a car. I chased that bird all season and never laid eyes on him  . Personal best is 11 1/4 inches for a beard. Best spurs were 1.5 inches and both were broken.
