who would be kind enough to give me some direction. I just moved to the Eugene area from halfway across the country. I don't know where to go and have zero connections. I'm starting to get out looking ,but a buddy could be a large help in shortning my learning curve. I'm use to the easterns and I have an idea this is different. Any help is appreciated.

The area down by medford is awsome. I killed several rios down there. I scouted around the eugene area once and found birds but couldnt get permission to hunt. SW OR had lots of birds and public land. This was in 200-2002 it might have changed.
As far as the birds being different not really, I think the rios were more vocal and easier to call than the easterns I grew up with.
