could you turkey hunt out of a deer stand
dont scratch a tiger with a short stick.

Well you could but you would have to get the turkeys almost right under you and shoot just about strait down.

Also I think it would take the fun out of turkey hunting.

Deer stand meaning an elevated platform. It's legal here in Va. but a ground blind is usually what's used. Trouble is you are pretty much grounded to "that one spot" Camo, facemask, gloves are really all you need to fool old Tom, as long as you DON"T MOVE :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: How did it go today :huh:

i think turkeys can pick movement up better if ur in the air since one of a turkeys main predators are eagles and hawks. ud be picked out alot easier.

Always remember that a turkey can see 340 degrees at all times in a circle. In the spring the trees do not have good canopy coverage therefore you stick out. Most hunters sit on the ground to be able to allow their camo to blend in to the surroundings thus dissapearing to those sharp keen turkey eyes
