Looking for blind desighn

Postby drake~slayer » Fri Mar 28, 2008 4:33 pm

I know that there is probably a thread here about how to build a
turkey blind. I am new to this and dont know how to search for it.
And in the interest of time I wil just ask it again. I need to figure out a good way to build a protable blind. It needs to be realativly light. It also should be big enough for two full growed men. Any help would be welcomed.

All you really need is 4 short sticks(uprights) and some camo material  Also, you could check somewhere that has camping supplies, they have fiberglass rods with elastic inside so you can hook them together to make a desired shape, heck, I guess you could use PVC gluede on one end and stuck together on the other. All it takes is a bit of imagination and some camo material  How about a natural veg??? All you need is some underbrush and limbs clipped off with a pair of pruning shears

Good Luck

Natural vegetation is the way we do it.

Take a bunch of dead limbs and stack them around your spot, then cut down cedars and intertwine them through the dead branches. Be sure to do it all the way around you so you have something behind you to break up your pattern.

We built four this weekend in about 2 hours, but it doesn't take that long. We were building them big enough for 2 people in each blind.

The "best" portable blind you can buy...

Max 4 camo, velcro closable look out holes, outside loops to attach extra vegatation if needed, fold it up, shoulder strap and your good to go.

Check it out at www.zingerwinger.com
