KY opened today...

10" beard and 1.5" spurs. Didn't get a weight on it. Killed it at 6:30 A.M. I watched it gobble on the roost and pitch down about 75 yards away. It never left strut when it hit the ground. Awesome hunt. :thumbsup:

Congrats man thats a great bird. I can count on one hand how many times I've had a hunt go like that. They're special when everything comes together like that strait off the roost.

Yeah it usually takes me messing up about 4 or 5 times before I get a chance to kill one. To be honest with you, I would rather spend a total of 20 hours in the woods before I get to kill one. The memories I have from hunts I've had to work my butt off for are usually what I like the most. However, I'm not complaining too much. Still got one more tag left, maybe I'll have to work a little harder for that one :thumbsup:

hey where about in western KY my buddy killed one that had 6 beards and weighted 24 pounds 5largest one in ky
dont scratch a tiger with a short stick.
