Nice job, i couldnt beg my bro to go along for a hunt, he says he doesnt like all the sitting, even though i told him he could shoot the first bird we called in

Popped one of two strutting in the lower end of a soccer field one time. No..... the kids were in in the middle of a game :no:

The picture was taken by my cousin at the fire station. We didn't hunt the birds there. We needed someone to snap a pic. of us together...

ha, I thought I was the only one to hunt sport fields. This one property I have the guy owns sports fields, three soccer fields and a baseball diamond. The fields are separated by some tall grass. We stuck our layouts in there and HAMMERED canadas this year on the third baseline. It was pretty funny sayin "a flock in from left-center." The one time we limited I ran the bases. Hilarious. Anyway, I haven't done any scouting for gobblers, but If I can kill a nice tom out in the soccer field I'm certainly going to do it.
