Wandering if anybody reloads for turkey or shoots a Charles Daly. New gun for this year, starting over from scratch on the reloads, not as easy to get great patterns out of as my mossy 835.Imagereload #1, 1 3/4 oz #6, 118 hits in 10" circle,35 ydsImage reload #2, 1 3/4 oz #6,119 hits in 10". These are two completely different loads, not saying they wouldnt work well, but nothing like i was getting out of the mossberg.

Used a Remington Ventilator choke tube for it.(.655)
Had good patterns with #6 shot out to 60 yards.

I own 4 dalys , 2 of the3.5 inch autos , 1 of the3.5 inch pumps , and one of the 3 inch autos. I love them , they are reliable , and great shooters, plus the life time warranty helps also. My turkey guns by them shoot very tight patterns , I use hastings .660 choke in one and a custom choke in the other one.
birddogs rule and all the rest drool, for birddogs love you for you and do not ask for anything in return but love so hug your birddog

I love my mossy, best gun i have ever had. Shooting the daly for the simple reason i have not killed a turkey with it yet. Also gives me the challenge of finding the right reload to make it pattern good, and something to pass the time for the next 5 weeks.
