Has anybody on here ever been to New Zealand turkey hunting? I am planning a trip over there this fall (their spring) and would like to know what to expect or if anybody knows of any contacts or outfitters to look in to. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Contact "The Waterfowler". Pat has been there, and would love to share some knowledge and photos. He's posted here and the taxidermy forum if you are looking to PM him. Pat has shot more turkey than anyone visiting DHC. That is a big claim I know, but he has done ALL the Slams, and has shot all the sub-species not only in the U.S., but visits Mexico regularly after Gould's, the South American jungle for Occelated, and I know he has some of those buff or white variations from New Zealand. BUT HE HAS NEVER SHOT AN EASTERN IN WISCONSIN!

Just kidding Pat, but I have to make claim to some bird you have never shot!
