Sounds good...There was some talk about a group hunt up around Helena, a large group would be fun...Maybe we should look at doing a few more where we got small pockets of members also

Canyon Ferry sounds great I havn't hunted there before and i would like to all of my other buddies say its to far to drive but i am up for it. It's only a little over a hour drive for me. Lets go. "dekes, dogs, and ducks".

I will have to break out the hunting gear again. I put it away for awhile until things pick up. I would love to make the trip over to Helena to see some ducks!

Lets do it!!......I'm thinking late Dec or early Jan when the migration is in full swing. I come down to Helena every two weeks so hunting Canyon
Ferry would be easy.
Lord......let me be as good a hunter as my dog thinks I am....amen

That sounds great that way i have plenty of school off and more free time from sports we will have to get everything orginized with how many people are coming and what to bring so keep me informed. nothing like a good quality duck hunt making friends and shooting ducks.

That sounds like fun. But the lake is usually frozen by then. The Missouri is good then though.

I have a couple of good spots I hunt south of townsend. Of course its hard to get me away from the Beaverhead and Ruby that time of year. Id be in for a group hunt though. I was out this morning and shot 7 drake mallards. Few and far between though. I shot every drake that came in. We need a flight to move through.
