Its probably a tundra and I dont know what state that this is in but I know you can shoot trumpeters in some states.

Banded marsh...Those are some great birds. Lots of gadwalls (my fav) and those red heads and cinnemon teal :thumbsup:

took these little babies in a timber hole me and two of my buds we killed another 4 or possibly 5 but you know how hunting woodies in flooded timber goes... when you only have about a good 15 minutes of flying time it is hard to pick up the ducks when you have none stop action...

yea i know we couldn't find none of the other but it was a good shoot... a couple days later a friend took a banded woodie drake in one of our holes close to this one (same swamp)!!

Pictures from a duck hunt this year in South Dakota. Prairie pot holes are full of water and ducks. Should be a banner year. 5 man limits for 2 days. Only put out 2 spinners and 5 floaters. Birds attacked the spinners.

negative 28 degrees the pic above is the dogs on the same hunt. They were ready to go home. I know, I know Im also one sexy biyutch. LOL.
