I agree with you Woody, getting anything out of people is like pulling teeth, geez. JK. Anyway I too will be there this saturday for the non res. opener, we will be west of the Gwinner and Milnor area, doin some scouting on Friday and cant wait to put on the smack down. Been told there are TONS of ducks around. Good luck.

It's like a reunion hearing the areas you guys are hunting, spent a lot of time at both.

Pretty much what you would expect. We have a good number of local ducks and most people did well. We had HUGE NW winds so the birds were moving. A good number of migrant canadas are down and I started seeing divers/reds/cans showing up on Saturday.

My family and I will be out there on 9-16 OCT. I have been watching the weather and it will get cold this weekend. Should I be concerned about a freeze out? I am usually out there the first week and ice has never been an issue.
