Regional reports on the migration of Snow and Blue geese.
FOR MIGRATION REPORTS ONLY
I believe I have missed the reports for the conditions of the Snow Goose hatch for this year. I did here that it was going to be a late hatch for the Eastern Canada nesting area due to the excessively wet conditions. I havn't heard anything on the Arctic or Central Canada areas. I understand that if these conditions persisted across the nesting grounds as a whole we would have limited number of juveniles. I was just wondering if anybody had heard anything....Thanks

It was fair to poor all over. It appears Central Flyway ross did alright, seen more juvies of them this year....or more just happened to move into our area of Sask/ND.
In Sask., we averaged around 65% juvies this year overall. They're definitely there, but I can't imagine there will be many 5 months from now on the way up.
