Can somebody help me out we are going to hunt Kaw lake saturday for the first time and i was wondering what should i expect, would i need to bring grass mats for blinds or is there enough cover around, how many decoys would i need any info would be appreciated

If you will go to this link that i have supplied, you can get a map that will tell you all the places that you can hunt on the lake.

To answer your question on what to bring, For the obvious, you will need a boat to get to all the good holes, you will want to have a blind on the boat and you will want to have approx 40-45 dekes. I would put out mainly mallards and teal decoys if it was me. My buddie hunted Kaw lake last weekend and he said that there was not too many birds. thanks alot we have been looking at the site all week trying to figure out where the best places to hunt are
