Have been looking at a lot on the net and woundered what you might think wouls be a good 1st machine.

The 35p Ohler is said to be good and then there is the F-1 "Basic" and the "Master" units that have a 16 foot cord to run back to the shooting table, so you can make adjustments while the range is "Hot".

Any ideas?

I've been using the F1 for 18 years and have had no problems to date.
If we can't see the readout from the bench we use biniculars on low power.
Thousands on the boat.
Hundreds on decoys.
Time away from the wife....priceless
