How many of you guys have ice. Where i hunt we had an inch or so. Tons of ducks but no open water.

we just started having freezing temperatures last night down here and its supposed to stay that way for awhile. We could see some frozen water by the opener next week.

If we do have ice I doubt it will amount to much. It's still staying warm enough during the day to melt off anything that forms over night. So whats there in when you head out shouldn't be anything that would slow ya down too much. I think the opener is gonna be a good one. I've heard good things about the number of birds in the area and I am definately ready for thursday!!!

We have an inch or so right now in the north part of the state. I have to break up some ice this weekend.
