Went n checkd one of my woodduck boxes today and it had 13 eggs in it. this is my first year puttin out any boxes and i only got to get 2 put out. i was hopeing to get 4-5 out but didnt get the chance to build the others. i meant to check the other one but it was gettin dark. Will definatly b puttin more out next winter

My uncle said if we incubate them n raise them up until they can fly there will be a better turn out rate but my thinkin is if we take all the eggs the hen may not lay in the box again next year. what are yalls opinions?

Its always duck season, there is just a long break from february to september.
