duck hunting in rhode island

I have recently moved to rhode island from georgia and was wondering if any one could give me any info on hunting in rhode island? also, is there a season on puddle and diver ducks? or is it just seaducks here? can anyone tell me where some places are to duck hunt here?

Ri has puddle ducks and divers, not just sea ducks. You just have to know where to look! :thumbsup:

Thanks for the welcome and info. Can you tell me of some places where I can hunt. I don't expect you to let me in on your honeyholes, just point me in the right direction to some public waterfowl areas.

Lots of public hunting all over the bay and salt ponds.

Just make sure your below mean high tide and 500' away from a house and you are usually good. There are a few closed area, they are all printed in the regs.
