i would be heading to g'ville frazier, but i hit it opening morn. so im probably going to hunt a three acre pond for some woodies and greenheads. wi'll see how it works out. the hunting theres better later in the season.ill also get a little more sleep because this perticular pond is a short distance form my home. but good luck to you and everyone else.

i heard everyone did awsome on g'ville today. i also heard if you didnt kill a duck and went your a horrible duck hunter, or just plain unlucky.

went sat morning and saw about 20 ducks ...all woodies but saw a group of four mallards.....of course they flew over and landed in another hole...shot 2 times.but kinda out of range....of course i missed.......but at least i know they are there.headed in the morning (tues)

Things have settled down a bit on our little 40 acre's in jackson county.
Yesterday morning produced 5 gadwall, 1 widgeon and the seasons first pintail. Nice bird, but no pin-feather. Too early. Still not seeing any mallards to speak of.
