Greenhead Gear Duck Butts

Postby duckiller » Mon Oct 11, 2004 11:01 am

I tried to order some of the greenhead gear mallard feeders from Mack's. The lady told me the DFG asked Greenhead Gear to discontinue them because they looked too realistic.

Has anyone heard if this is true?

It is true Avery canceled the duck butts, but not because they were too realistic. They had other things that had higher priority, but the butts should be out next year.

So they don't have any in stock? That sucks because I was going to place an order for a few later this week.

None in stock. Check out the Cabela's Waterfowl Catalog. They have a picture of one where they sell a doz. regular G&H with a duck butt, line, weights and a bag.

Carrylite makes them-but the paint falls off-at least the ones I had did. I got have a few Flambs that are bigger than the CLs and they are nice.
