Teal love skinny water. Concentrate your scouting efforts to find that and you will probably find ducks too.
Any time you find skinny water...mark it, find it again,and hunt it.

aunt Betty is referring to shallow mud flats. teal eat invertebrates and vegetation found in shallows muddy areas. A buddy and I shot our limit last weekend in 4 inches of water and 1 foot of mud.

To reply to the ones saying the blue wings moved through early this year, I just kicked up about 200-300 of em while scouting and its oct 7th
