Planning a trip from maryland to rhode island help!

Postby trophy7814 » Sat Aug 21, 2010 6:35 pm

Im planning my first eider hunt for the first week of December. Here in maryland we have sea duck zones and you have to be 800 yards from shore. .I was looking at RI regs and I found the closed areas, but nothing on distance from shore. Also I plan on bringing eider and scoter sleds, should I add some full bodies and any other species?Any help or advice you could give would be greatly appreciated.Help me stay out of trouble  ,thanks

I'm not much of an EIder hunter. But when I do get on my friends" boat. We end up hunting for Bluebills. RI sometimes has carpets of em in the Upper Narraganset bay later in the season.

Good luck!
Not hard to hit, just easy to miss.
