I've been lurking on this forum for a while and I have decided to come to you guys for help. I'm planning a bachelor party for mid-Jan and need some ideas. I'm looking for the trifecta-duck hunting, steelhead (I've got some non-duck hunters to appease)and casino. I want to stay at/near the casino but have the hunting and fishing close. This guy has been my best friend for 15 years and deserves to go out in style. I've got two ideas so far but am looking for more.

1) Skagit- they have a wicked trifecta, but I've never hunted up there. I don't know if i'd feel comfortable leading a hunting party up there.
2) Ocean Shores-Hoh, and Chehalis area and Quinalt Casino.
We're looking to stay on the wet-side.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks guys.

I've got a couple of toothless fifty-year-olds that are itchin' to show us what a real woman can do on a pole. . We're actually doing two bachelor parties-the one I'm doing and the one just before the wedding (that's where the strippers and farm animals come in). I think we'll end up doing the Quinalt Casino. Anyone know how the steelheading is in mid-Jan on the Hoh?

The Quinault would be a good choice for what you want to do. You've got Willapa and Grays Harbors for waterfowl, plus you can run up the Chehalis valley for inland hunting. There used to be good hunting right on the spit in Ocean Shores, but I don't know if you can still hunt there. Steelheading is all around you with the Humptulips River only a couple miles away. If you want to spend some money, run up to Quinault and hire one of the Indian guides and fish the Quinault River. It can be fantastic. All the coastal rivers are very sensitive to heavy rainfall which frequently can push them out of shape over night. Good luck.
