Postby karl Berger » Sat Sep 11, 2010 9:38 am

I know the conditions in the quill lake area are terrible spoke with farmer last week he has about 20% of fields picked that he was able to get in this spring. Lots of ducks but no snow!! Planning on putting alot of miles on vehilce and bringing the Rhino 4 wheeler for the first time! Any help would be great!

Right about this time they should be trickling into the winter wheat and peas..looks like that area will have a week of dry weather and some(light suv..no heavy trucks with trailers) fields should be driveable. Note stay off the black dirt roads and don't even think about travelling to the hayfields near the Lakshore and don't even go south near the First Nations Reserve as some black dirt roads are flooded over near the DU walkin site. Many ducks in bigger ponds. Travel only on the gravel grid roads and don't park in the ditches, stay on the approaches..Take car when travelling in an ATV with a shotgun, please read the regulations
and be safe.
