MISSING BLACK LAB

Postby duckin-A » Mon Sep 13, 2010 1:53 pm

We are missing our 6 yr old Blk Lab female named Stella. last seen Sept 4 evening on Townline Road in Mendon Vt.
she was wearing a large red heart tag on blk leather collar, with names, address, phone numbers etc.
we have reported it to all area agency's and posted flyers in our area. she is an awesome dog and hunter, if you see or hear anything or see someone with a mature lab that they just got maybe itz her......distinguishing feature is that the tip/ end of her tail the bone is crooked and kind of blunt compared to tapered or pointed. large thick tail with coarse hair.
so far we have no tips from anywhere. there are lots of houses in the surrounding areas. we think she might have chased a deer from the apple trees in our yard. the mountains behind our house is steep & rugged and there are coyotes there too.
we pray for her safe return. thanks for reading.

Karl took a ride up wheelerville road today and saw your posters, and am just sick for you,it would kill me to loose my lab,she is amazing and loved so much, hell, she is my kid! I love her like a daughter! She is my best friend, and closest companion,my favorite hunting partner and the only one that I know loves me unconditionally!!!! I would be a wreck if I lost her! I am still keeping my eyes and ears open and asking all the vets we deal with if anyone has resently brought in an older lab they may have just equirered, and none of then have given me any news! I see other people with black labs and I think is that her? I check for the tail straight away! I will probably do that for years too come! But believe me I will keep my eyes open!

Hi Pete.....thanks for your comments. Stella is missed every day, and our other 2 dogs looked confused when she first went missing, now i think they have forgotten.....to bad they cant talk.
At this point pretty unlikely she will return. we still hope, and will never forget Stella!!
