With the 2nd split opening this weekend, has anyone been scouting? I haven't had the time to get out lately, but have heard rumors of a decent amount of ducks in areas. Is anyone else seeing many ducks?

YES, been seeing lots of birds as of late. But with this strong front moving in on friday i am anxious to see if it will just push these birds out or bring some more.

We finally got some rain, and it couldn't of came at a better time. I am actually beginning to get enough water to hunt in an area that was as dry as a bone earlier in the week. But with the 2 1/2 to 3 inches of rain we received Wednesday, the swamp is beginning to hold water again and hopefully the ducks will follow. I think that I am going to have to make a scouting trip in the morning to check it out.

They must be in shreveport. We went out this morning 5 guys, me and two hunted together and the other two hunted down from us. Our two buddies left at 8:30 with two limits. We only ended up with 13 but should have limited easy.
