our farm pond is close to the size of a football field and is 10 feet deep on one side and gradually tapers to a few inches on the "shallow end" which has flooded timber. i dont see ducks on it on a regular basis. is there anything i can do to make it more appealing? there arent alot of weeds or cattails, would that help? the location seems to be good its not near any houses and is on the edge of woods and crop fields.

If you can lower the water plant some corn, millet, chufa, or rice. if not maybe try something like smartweed. that is my first suggestion.
You know your hunting in South Carolina when a bunch of ducks fly in and you shot both of them!!
