Power Hunter

Postby ks_waterfowler » Mon Oct 18, 2004 7:02 pm

We bought 2 of them. They are alright. If I were you I would spend the extra $50 and get a nice blind. The frame is only at the head. You can see out of it pretty good. You can't hide your gun very well, cause you can't get it in the blind. I should have bought a final approach. I need to learn to quit buying the cheapest product I find.

You can see pretty well out of them, the problem is that it is kinda hard to scramble back into it, a lot of people have problems with the bar that goes acoss the head cover, if I were you I would spend the extra couple of bucks and go with either the FINISHER or one of the Final Approaches...my .02

Stay away from the finisher and get the Final Approach Eliminator Pro Guide or the Eliminator Top Gun

Anti Avery

Postby ks_waterfowler » Thu Oct 21, 2004 10:51 am

My anti Avery stems from them making their products in China. Taking jobs away from Americans. I would be willing to pay a higher price for an American made Product. Oh yeah, I buy G&H decoys made in Oklahoma, USA

KS- I see what you are saying. I have stayed away from a lot of Avery products, I did buy a couple cheap things made by them though. I bought a pair of ankle gaters to keep my pants down when I am wearing waders.

Ok there is my confession. Walmart here is starting to carry Avery gear...

FA all the way

Postby Xtrema Hunter » Thu Oct 21, 2004 5:44 pm

The 10 reasons I am anti Avery Finisher

10.Unstable
9.Shell bag location
8.Non-spring loaded doors
7.Not a full frame
6.All stubble must be taken out of the blind for it to be folded up.
5.Small opening in the blind to get in and out of.
4.Non-padded gun rest
3.Sharp corners that scratch your gun
2.Flagging hole zippers are poor quality.
1.NO ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you own a finisher and have never hunted out of a FA try it once you will never go back.

I don't know y everybody has to talk bad about avery. oh well, we all have our own opinion. I for one, like avery, I have very many of their products and have NEVER had a problem with anything from them. And I have a finisher and I love it. It is very comfortable and has plenty of room and u can see very easily out of it and I have taken my limit from it almost every time I use it.
