To be honest, there isn't many reputable guides up here for many reasons but I won't get into that. The only one I've ever recommended is Tim Frantz. He's a heck of a nice guy and cut his operation down from quantity to quality. Let him know I sent ya and tell him I demand he gives you a discount.

Tyler - Not sure what the last poster was thinking. Lots of good folks in ND to hunt with. :welcome:

I have hunted with NorthStar Outiftters for 9 years. I have done waterfowl, upland birds and deer. Check out there website and then give Randy or Chad a call. Real good guys, real good hunting, real good food, real good lodging and a real good time if you are hunting with some friends. If you are are by yourself, let me know and we will fit you in with our group.

There are a lot of bad guides here, trust me, I know.

I'm surprised you hunt that close to Fargo? I grew up in Fargo and used to hunt around there but it's not the prime area of the state.

Okay - I've got friends in Gackle and stay there a couple times throughout the fall. We had some great snow goose hunting this fall.

Snows were everywhere this year, more than usual. First couple of weeks in November were great hunting for any species.
