I will be stationed near Albuquerque as of this February and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some good hunting.

Up northern New Mexico has good turkey; well good everything hunting...

If you're looking for turkey, check out the mountain area north west of Albuquerque there is a big ass plot of public land there - and I can't remember the name - it had a big brush fire through it last year.... anyhow good turkeys all through there.

PM me & I will tell you whatever I know about northern NM (Colfax County) where I used to live.

Lake Maloya state park near Raton, NM has archery only spring turkey hunts. Although you need to get into there soon as season starts and scout - it gets hit hard....
