i know people probably ask this a lot, but what open water spread works the best for you. U, J, V, X or O

W or l l l is what I use mostly. the 3 basic groups are only 15' wide with space in between for landing zones. the W is sim except more decoys to fill in on the upwind side where the blind is.

I've never really thought about it, but I guess we start the season off with a U or V shape. After the birds have been around they will sit in small groups of 4-8 birds. When we notice them doing that we'll start setting them up in small groups close together and leave openings for them to land in.
