Haven't gotten out as much as I'd like to have. I got 6 ducks and a goose. Got my brother his first goose, and this his first band the next week and I got to call them in for him, so I'd say I had a helluva season based on those 2 things alone. I don't care if I didn't ever kill a thing, getting him those 2 things were more than I could have asked for.

I killed my first Widgeon and Gadwall. Although we killed around 25 Gadwalls, I had never shot one untill this season. I didn't kill near as many ducks as I would have liked to. The lack of water we had made it terribly hard for me hunting on public land. We still wacked a good many ducks though. Good season!!

I thought about getting him to sign my cleavage, but decided against it at the last moment.

Well I didn't s good as I thought I would this season. Although I did get my first goose and merganser this year.I can only hope next season will be better. I don't think anyone in tennessee really hurt the duck population to much this year.I'm off to the rabbits till the end of that season!

I worked twice as hard this year and still had my worst season in 5 or 6 years. The lack of water killed us. The water never flooded into the timber like I wanted it to but the last weekend we got a nice hunt in. I had a lot of fun though and drove alot of miles. I'm working on getting a lease for next year, it would be nice to have somewhere that I know will have water and I don't have to get to my spot at 2am to make sure I get it :hammer:
Any day that starts with a cold boat ride is a good one

I honestly don't like the idea of leases and hunting one spot or one blind all the time, I enjoy scouting and chasing them all over the place but it would be nice to have a place to fall back on if the public land isn't working out
