they have faster, and they have slower with heavier bullets

which do you want??
energy or trajectory

Stingers used to be pretty hot...but most of those "super".22 just used lighter bullets, like 32 grains instead of the standard 40 grain bullet.

I find Yellow Jackets here all the time. Gander or Bass Pro should have them. If not, CCI Stingers would be closer to the performance of the YJ's.

The super high vel bullets at 1640 and 1550fps are great if you can get them to group in your guns.

Some guns do better with standard high vel 36hp at 1280 (cci #0031) or the 40gr at 1255 fps.

For plinking the 40gr sub-sonic at 1050 can give great accuracy with very little noise.

If you are lucky enough to have a 22 that will shoot the CB long (cci #0038) or Short target (cci #0037)
these are two accurate loads for close range plinking with minimum noise and recoil.

I use those on the trapline quite a bit since I trap in the suburbs most often. Hardly any noise at all and they do the job without making 2 hole in the pelts.

Did some test at 50 yards with my win. pump and 4x scope and got the following...........

Rem Gold 36hp 1280fps 4 @ .77
Yell Jacket 1500fps 4 @ 1.23
Stinger 1640fps 5 @ .98
Velositer 40gr 1435fps 5 @ .98

cci subsonic at 25 yards 5 @ .56
cb long 710fps 25 yds 8 @ .98

as you can see ,each rifle can like or dislike a certain brand of ammo
