Bird Down in Florida

Postby BigBend » Wed Mar 23, 2011 5:36 pm

I killed one on tuesday on public land.almost didnt get him, missed my oppurtunity at about 10 yards because he came out in a bad spot, then he went behind me for 40 minutes gobbling at every noise he heard. not a monster but he might be a two or three year old. beard was 9 1/2, spurs were 1 inch and sharp. our season gets started a little early just wanted to build a little anticipation for yall. called him in with the flextone kung fu chop, which is becoming my new favorite mouth call. already posted this one up in the florida forum.

Nice bird! Thanks for the build up, we are getting close
If you believe in the 150 pellets in the 10 inch circle, I guarantee you will miss more turkeys!!
