Today I guess I decided to snap the idler pulley which in turn shredded the serpentine belt... :help:

One of my least favorite things to do! I had to change a u-joint that disintegrated a cap on my Jeep in college in the middle of winter (in the Upper Peninsula of MI) with no garage once and that pretty much ruined that experience for me.

As for myself, I recently re-wired my battery. The factory cables were showing their age and I wanted to jump up a size in wire as well.

I'm also collecting the parts to get the Ford 8.8 swapped into my ZJ. I've actually got all of the parts, it's just a matter of getting the money and time to bring it to the guy doing the welding for me. I'm hoping to have this completed in a month or so, drop dead date is June 1 so I can get a few runs in before my parents get here in July. I'm excited to have 4wd again (currently have mismatched gears, 3.73 rear and 4.56 front).

 good thing you dont use 4wd!

I am going to have to be strictly 2wd right after I put my 4.88's in while I take out the front axle case and put the fronts in! thats going to be a chore!

Yeah, I pulled the rear driveshaft so that there was no chance of grenading anything and also so that I could break in the gears up front. My ZJ gets driven very little so running around in FWD for a while hasn't been an issue for me.

Also installed a set of Bully back up lights. Throws lots of light when backing up at night especially in dark remote areas.

Actully that is the Flex Plate.

Done that many times, but will still only run an automatic in the mud pits.

Picked up a new 2011 duramax on Sat. My 2001HD will now be the farm hauler and the new one my toy :lol3:

Did they really? I had a pair of brass ones on my truck for a couple years. crossed a ditch once and they got pinched and snapped the chain. I've since made a sign for the Woodward Cruise with the nuts that says no balls, hold it up and you'll get a burnout everytime!

I"ll have to look, but the Expedition is riding on 17 inch rims, paid around $850 and some change for 4 tires. Made me want to cry. They aren't as aggressive as what I had on there.
