Visiting Denver

Postby MONDAGO » Thu Jun 09, 2011 10:58 pm

Hey guys my wife and I will be in Denver next week for a few days and I was hoping some of you could make some suggestions on things to do or see while there? We've been once before a few years ago and weren't able to see much but did sneak up to RMNP and we'd like to go back if possible. Anything else you guys recommend? Thanks!

All the rivers in the mountains are really high which makes fishing about impossible. RMNP still has alot of snow up at the higher elevations which makes driving up to Trail Ridge Rd. worth the effort (20ft walls of snow on each side of the car at 13,000ft)

The Rodeo Hall of fame is cool in Colorado springs. But take I70 west to blackhawk/central city and eat at the buffets and casino's mmm

go do some spring snowboarding at A-Basin. very fun. only problem is its kinda expensive. you might be able to borrow someone's season pass.
