b-ham area

potentially moving to the birmingham area, but that soley depends on ducks, not looking for specific spots or anything, more or less just a forcast or whatever. how is the general duck hunting in the area. is it worth it, do you guys actually kill ducks or do you do alot of traveling for them

Mostly woodies in the Bham area. Probably a better chance of Mallards in North Alabama.

If you want some variety, you'll most likely need to go northeast of B'ham and hunt Lake Guntersville. Or go all the way south and hunt mobile and baldwin counties. Otherwise, you'll most likely be hunting woodies.
