are you even allowed to hunt from a sinkbox? according to the idaho regs, the fed regs state that its unlawful to hunt from one... just curious... i think i would be kinda neat, although a bit unfair, to try one out...

Far as im aware sink boxs are illegal on a federal level. That last boat was neat though there was a guy selling them here at the boat show last year.

Not quite!!!

Try a 383 small block cheverolet stroker motor, putting out 425 horse, 460 lbs of torque. Has forward, neutral and reverse. Also has Air Flow Research heads and 1.6:1 ratio rockers instead of the 1.5:1

It's 4" bore 3.8" stroke

That boat that goes 68 is pretty ridicoulous though. I wouldnt even want to go that fast in a boat. 40 mph is fine for me. hell i even like 30 mph.

He's re-proping it right now. I believe he just got a four blade he said he thinks will do in the mid 70's. I'll know more soon!

The reason Cali has a boat like that is because they make VERY long runs to where they hunt. I think he said it was something close to 30 miles one way over shallow sandbars. The other reason is because he likes his toys.

I understand the long runs but liking a boat that goes 75 miles an hour? Common 50 mph is speeding fast!

75 mph is fast no doubt, but just look at the bass fishing rigs out there.

Is it enough that your pickup has 200 hp and will do 90 mph or more? A lot of people sure don't think so. That's way the aftermarket mod business is so huge. It's all personal preference.

Myself, I would love to have a boat like his that would do 75 mph. There's a difference between needs and wants.

Doesn't that boat have a jet drive? He would be changing impellers right?

Hillbilly, it is prop driven. If you look down through the pictures on his site you can see the prop sticking partially out of the water.

Boy do I wish I could make it down for that, but it's probably better than I don't. Buying a house and then buying a mud motor would kill me.
