Lots of guys hunt Humbolt as it is now a city and there is lake Lenore nearby too the north as the snows should be there now in numbers east of Humbolt there a lot of deep freshwater ponds holding ducks and a DU site holding many snows and big and small geese. Permission is pretty good..hunted that area way back in 1999 and shot many snows in the peas plus many ducks.

I'm near there right now, about 40 miles away. Lots of snows, Canadas and just a few mallards. Ducks not down from the north yet. Limited on Canadas every day. We've got 72 Canadas to haul back to NC.
