going up to north dakota to a buddies to shot greenheads wondering if all the pheasant drowned up there or if their is enough dry ground to hunt a few in the afternoon

Depends on what part of the state you are hunting. The SE part of the state is down 70% and the SW part is down 30% or more. North of I-94 took an even bigger hit and so did the NW part. My dad was out this weekend, only ran into a couple groups and nothing positive was said about the numbers.

doesnt sound to great we are going to be in the south east section around oakes and clogswell we didnt do to good last year was hopeing it would be better but it doesnt look that way

In that area, if you see a bird or two, you'll be lucky. Also, a lot depends on crops still standing. You might get lucky and get a few or just might get some good exercise. EIther way, it beats any day at work!

thanks h20 looks like we may just spend more time scouting greenheads than trying to kill some road chickens
