Hey guys I'm just wondering what everybody had been shooting/seeing I the northern Colorado area. Near fort Collins or greeley. I'm going on Friday!

150ish birds since season started. Mostly BWT, GWT, Wigeon, Gads, Spoons, and Redheads. A couple mallards, a cinnamon teal and geese thrown in

So Respectable numbers? My dad keeps telling me that it's too cold and no birds will be up there

I went out today. We saw about 20 ducks this morning. Mostly mallards and teal. We only shot 1 but it was a really good looking drake mallard. Supposed to get some weather next week. Can't wait

Been seeing almost everything! More and more mallards this week. So far this season I've shot teal, shovellers, canvasback, gadwall, widgeon, red heads, mallards, and a woodie. These are some pics from today on a SWA out by Fort Morgan. My buddy and I finally limited out at about noon. (they seemed to be flying all day out there). Only 10 ducks pictured...I had to leave the other 2 out because they got destroyed (bummer) by a 3 1/2 at about 10 feet.

Ran into ice for the 1st time this year...had to do some breaking for about 30 minutes. Wonder if the Platte is picking up?
