Scottish Eggs

Postby Born2fish » Sun Oct 23, 2011 8:09 pm

I don't know if ya'll tried these but they're great to carry on a hunt.

Hard boiled eggs
sausage tube
bread crumbs

take the hard boiled eggs and wrap them in sausage. Roll it in bread crumbs seasoned to taste. Then pan fry them until the sausage is cooked. Easy to carry in a plastic bag and dip them in spicy mustard or hot sauce.

They are a little harder to come by in the states but I get one every time I go to an English pub called Horse Brass here in Portland OR. They serve theirs with the best mustard i have ever eaten. One of these days I will have to find out what brand it is.
