I got bored today so I decided to give my carp bow a face lift. It is an old bow so I really don't care how it really looks, just something to do. I have some before pics and I will post some after pics when the paint dries. I went with a blue back ground with greyish high lights. I think the paint might chip of the limbs after awhile, but I was still fun doing it, plus I am really, really, bored..................I hope my boss calls me back to work soon.....

It is kinda cheesy.........but I think its pretty funny. Come on, how many bowfishing rigs are painted like that? It sure will get some attention.

Postby WI_Trapper » Thu Mar 02, 2006 11:25 pm

Need a little Help,

Can you guys give me some websites on where to get bow fishing stuff, need a new reel, Haven't shot carp in years but would like to give it a try again this spring. You can send me a PM with web sites if you like. I thought I posted this yesterday but must have gotten lost.

Thanks :salude:

WI trapper, everyone has there own opinions but I have shot lots of different reels for bowfishing. The safest being the AMS retriever reel, but the best thing is to use a regular ole reel, like an omega 888 or a big zebco dont remember the number for them.
If they're dumb enough to be lured in by plastic you're really just doing them a favor.

Know your target before you pull the trigger.
