Handgun*

Well this gun was passed down to me. i have no clue what make or model it is. all i know is its a 22. LR and underneath the barrel it says
"German 116738" look at the gun that is black with the buffalo.
its not the prettiest gun but its over 70 to 80 years old.

the other pics on there of other guns.are some guns i collected this year.

a quick search in google groups turned this up....it may or may not be the same gun. it sounds close though. i'll keep looking though.

Here is my best guess with the limited description above :

Probably manufactured by Rohm GmbH of Sonthiem/Brenz Germany.
#From the mid 50s until 1968, Rohm sold a broad line of inexpensive
revolvers in the US.
US distributors would often have Rohm create a specific brand name
or model name to sell products under.
The Liberty Arms company was such a fictitious company; it was nothing
more than a brand created by a US distributor (unknown) under which
it would sell Rohm revolvers.

Fairly little collector demand for these.
Value is strictly as a shooter.
Probably worth $50-200, depending on condition.
