Ok fellas opening morning is over. lets here the stories and reports (if you wanna say). i know there's some horror stories out there i got on from my buddy this morning already. so lets hear it.

4 woodies 1 mallard seen well over a 100 birds. Also a BUNCH of hunters :mad:

good stories fellas. ya public land can be a bit of trouble hunting but hey it is what it is. we got two woodies this morning had a decent amount of birds just got buzzed good luck to everyone in the morning.

Good weekend for me.......got to see good number of birds.....Saturday got a drake mallard....Sunday consisted of a drake and hen hoodie, drake and hen mallard, and a hen gadwall. Looking forward to hunting with some of you this season!!

djchris, very nice quota of ducks. season startin out a little slow but its only goin to get better fellas.

Saw some birds, but couldn't get them to commit. Opening day My partners and I watched another group kill some shore birds. Now there are 3 less hunters on the water. I have no sympathy for poachers, or ignorant hunters. Know your birds, know your laws.

Damn tweedy bird, you about got shot.
There's a whole bunch of duc..oh wait, tweety birds.

Opening day, 3 hunters , 4 woodies(3 drakes,1hen), 2 shovler hens, 1 widgeon Hen, 1 gadwall hen. Saw quite a few birds, many would not commit. Not bad for a public land hunt. Good start, going to get better!

Total for 4/5 man group on opening weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
15 Woodies (One was my buddies first band)
9 Mallards (One was my first band)
3 Gadwall
2 Canada Geese
