Bacon Beer Battered Pheasant

As I was cooking breakfast the other morning (bacon and Eggs). I was thinking of how I should cook the pheasant that was defrosting in the fridge. I decided to just fry them up with some beer batter. But then i dawned on me, what makes any kind of food better? Bacon!!! So i fried up some bacon till it was really crispy, let it cool and crunched it into bits. Later that day I mixed the bacon into the beer batter. Then sliced the pheaseant into strips and cooked it in oil, just deep enouph so that the pheasant floats in the oil. (the oil should be at about 375 degrees before you drop it in) Cook it for about 5 minutes on each side. Serve it up with some wild rice soup and you got yourself a meal fit for a king.

Mmm sounds good your definatly right about bacon making meals better.
